FreshBooks Is A Breath Of Fresh Air...

After much frustration, I decided to stop using QuickBooks and opt for an alternative; FreshBooks.

FreshBooks handles:
Invoicing-both one-time and recurring
Cost estimating
Expense tracking
Time tracking
Online payment options for your clients via your merchant
Paper bills sent out with the click of a button
Reporting

It is very easy to set up and is very easy to use.

If you haven't tried it out, and are looking for a painless accounting solution, give it a shot! You can use it for up to 3 clients free and upgrade when you are ready to!

Here's a comment from one of our clients:
Holy crap that is much easier to pay that way! Very nice!

Have you heard from anyone if Freshbooks is accountant-friendly? Every year, I just hand over my QuickBooks file to my accountant. What do you do with FreshBooks?

Patric,

I am using Freshbooks the same way that we used QuickBooks- AR and AP. I was using QuickBooks online rather than the boxed software. It was way too complex for what we needed it for.

With FreshBooks, I am able to very quickly, and very easily locate my clients, enter the info, and process the appropriate transaction.

There were too many steps in getting to what I needed to get to with QuickBooks, that I found myself not at all wanting to log in and report anything. FreshBooks is as easy as using the social networks that we use...

As far as being accountant friendly; there is reporting in FreshBooks. They have also come out with BootStrap in the beta version that is amazingly simple as well. So, between the two, FreshBooks and BootStrap, it seems to be a complete solution.

Check them out for yourself and let me know what you think!
